The 1937 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first Disney full-length animated movie to be released outside United States. It lasted 65 minutes and everything was animated in silhouette.
In the movie Bambi, the scenes showing the forest on fire and woodland creatures are actually footages from the movie Pinocchio there were not used.
All the characters of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland are found in Lewis Carroll’s books except for the Doorknob.
In 1991, Beauty and the Beast was nominated for Best Picture in the Oscar. It was the first full-length animated feature to have such nomination.
The last animated feature film personally looked-upon by Walt Disney is The Jungle Book in 1967.
